Donald Sutherland

This is a pastel that I did about a year ago. His interesting features have made him one of my favorite subjects for sketching, and thus far, for 2 finished paintings. I may paint him again, from earlier in his career, but since I always seem to have more plans than time, it's just as likely that I won't. If I do, it may be with Sean Connery, from The Great Train Robbery. Turn of the century clothing, top hats, and lambchops (sideburns) - it is tempting. Only time will tell.
